EV Napló

Dashboard

Your business at a glance, always up to date: income, expenses, profit, and how close you are to your tax limits.

The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open EV Napló, and it's built to answer the question freelancers ask most often: how am I doing right now?

What it shows

  • Income, expenses, and profit for Today, Month-to-date, or Year-to-date, with a delta against the prior comparable period, so you can see at a glance whether this month is ahead or behind.
  • Outstanding income and unpaid expenses as separate tiles, so money you're owed and money you owe never get lost inside a single balance figure.
  • A rolling feed of your most recent activity, the last few income and expense entries you logged.

Annual limit tracking

If you're on the Hungarian flat-rate tax system (átalányadó), the Dashboard shows a dedicated Annual Limits card with progress bars for:

  • the flat-rate revenue ceiling (18x the annual minimum wage),
  • your tax-free personal allowance, and
  • the VAT-exemption threshold, if your business is VAT-exempt.

Each bar comes with a plain-language projection, like "on pace to hit this limit by October," calculated from your run rate so far this year, not just a static percentage. That running view is what keeps tax filing from turning into a year-end surprise.

Accounts, at a glance

A dedicated tile shows your total balance across connected bank and cash accounts, with a badge when there are imported bank transactions waiting for you to review, and a warning banner if your tax settings haven't been configured for the current year yet.

Everything on the Dashboard updates the moment you log a new entry. There's no sync delay, and no "refresh" button to remember.
