EV Napló

Multi-Currency & Banking

Bill international clients without spreadsheet math, and see your real bank balance sitting right next to your bookkeeping.

Multi-currency, done properly

Any income or expense entry can be recorded in a foreign currency. Behind the scenes, EV Napló pulls official daily exchange rates from Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB), Hungary's central bank. If a rate isn't published yet (weekends, holidays), it automatically falls back to the most recent published rate within the last 7 days. Both the original foreign-currency amount and the converted base-currency amount are stored, so your reports are always accurate in HUF while your invoices stay correct in the client's currency.

Monetary accounts

Set up any number of bank or cash accounts with an opening balance. EV Napló computes a running balance for each account from the entries you've linked to it, so you can see, per account, exactly where your money sits.

Import a bank statement

Import a CSV or OFX export from your bank. An on-device AI assistant looks at your file's columns and pre-fills the mapping: which column is the date, the description, the amount, so it can understand the export format of any bank.

Reconciliation without surprises

Once imported, EV Napló proposes candidate matches between bank transactions and your existing entries, scored by amount, currency, direction, and how close the dates are. It also flags bank activity that doesn't seem to be logged yet, and anything you don't want matched can simply be ignored.
