AI-powered features like receipt scanning require Apple Intelligence and are only available on supported devices.
How it works
Take or attach a photo of a receipt and EV Napló runs it through two on-device steps:
- Text recognition using Apple's Vision framework, tuned for both Hungarian and English receipts.
- Structuring using Apple's on-device Foundation Models (the Apple Intelligence language model built into iOS) to turn raw OCR text into a vendor name, document number, date, and per-line net amounts, VAT rates, and category guesses.
The result lands in a normal expense entry, pre-filled and ready for you to review and adjust before saving.
Everything stays on your phone
Both steps run entirely on-device. Your receipts and the financial details on them are never uploaded to a server to be read.
It recognizes your business, too
Extracted vendor names are matched against your existing clients and vendors, and category guesses are checked against your own accounting categories, so scanned receipts tend to land in the right place, not just as raw text.
