Income & Expense Entry

Bookkeeping only happens if it's fast enough to survive real life, so logging an entry in EV Napló is built to take seconds.

Fast, structured entry

• One dedicated screen each for income and expenses, reachable in one tap from the Dashboard.
• Every entry supports multiple line items: a single invoice with three different services at three different VAT rates is one entry.
• Attach a client or vendor, mark the entry paid or unpaid, link it to one of your monetary accounts, add notes, and attach a photo of the receipt, all on the same screen.

Handling VAT

Each line item carries its own net amount, category, and VAT rate. VAT amounts are calculated automatically as you type and stored with the entry.

Foreign currency, built in

Need to invoice a client in EUR or USD while your books are in HUF? Enter the amount in the foreign currency and EV Napló converts it to your base currency using a stored exchange rate. Both the original and converted amounts are kept, so nothing gets rounded away silently. See Multi-Currency & Banking for how exchange rates are sourced.
